How much does it cost to send money internationally?

The cost of sending money internationally varies depending on factors such as the amount being transferred, the destination country, the chosen transfer method, and any applicable fees or exchange rate margins. Additionally, please note that there may be restrictions or limitations on sending money to certain countries such as Iran, Cuba, North Korea, and Sudan.

How long does it take to transfer money internationally?

The duration of the transfer depends on the recipient’s location and the chosen delivery method. If you’re sending money to a cash point, the recipient will receive the transaction within 10 minutes. However, if the funds are being sent to a bank account, it may take 2 to 3 working days for the recipient to receive the money. Additionally, there is an option available for certain countries where the transfer can be delivered within 24 hours, though with a low fee.

What documentation is required for money transfer?

For Danish citizens or foreigners with a Danish address, a valid form of identification such as a passport, residence permit, or driver’s license along with the health insurance card (yellow card) is required.

For tourists, a valid passport is necessary for identification purposes.

Additionally, a Danish address or the address where you are staying while in Denmark is required.
